"How Much Should I Give?"

Now that the Hartman House facility is open, we are able to cook for the patients in the SCHC HOPE Medical Respite Program and provide snacks on a more steady basis. For those who are unable to live in a congregate setting, we have maintained the scattered site model where each patient receives food, personal hygiene products, and a few household items to make their motel room feel a little more like "home".

While each patient enters medical respite with their own needs and care plans, we do our best to make sure each patient is set up with everything they need to get the most out of their recovery. On average, it costs $25 to supply each patient with the items they need throughout a 4-week stay.

Pathways to Housing is registered on Amazon Smile, where a percentage of all your purchases go to a charity of your choice. Go to Amazon Smile settings, search for "Pathways to Housing", and select the one located in Redding, CA!

We are grateful for our supporters and fellow advocates in the community. Spreading the word of recuperative care services and increasing supports for individuals experiencing housing insecurity is invaluable.

If you have ideas on other ways you could assist, please reach out to us.
