Pathways to Housing operates the Hartman House and provides the hospitality services for patients in the SCHC HOPE Medical Respite Program. This program is desidned to support the acute medical recovery of individuals experiencing homelessness. While in this program, patients are placed in temporary housing while they receive medical services, case management, and other support through our partners at Shasta Community Health Center.
in March 2023, Pathways to Housing began providing case management and meals to residents of the new South Market Micro Shelter Community which is operated by our partners at United Way of Northern California.
In April 2023, Pathways to Housing will begin delivering meals to individuals in Shasta Community Health Center's Short-Term Post Hospitalization Program.
We also participate in community education, advocacy, and support as much as possible!

About the Role
The Meal Coordinator will primarily be delivering meals to individuals enrolled in the programs we support. This position works with a diverse and vulnerable population.
This position may include use of your personal vehicle at times. Mileage will be reimbursed in accordance with federal standard mileage rates.
We are currently hiring one part time position (up to 29 hours per week) Tuesday-Saturday, 10:30am-12:30pm and 3:30pm-5:30pm.

Responsibilities
Assist with meal delivery preparation, as needed.
Deliver meals to scheduled locations.
Document delivery of each meal.
Accurately record daily mileage.
Comply with all policies, procedures, and protocols.
Complete all necessary trainings within one week of hire.
Other duties, as assigned.

Work Environment
This job typically operates in a variety of conditions at the employer’s location. The employee must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures outside, as well as within the building. The noise level may be moderate at times.
Physical Demands
This is a moderately physical position that will require bending, stooping, stretching, twisting, reaching, pulling and regularly lifting up to 40 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds, use of hands to grasp, move or assemble objects, wrist bending, use of equipment and materials and dealing with the outside elements. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination. This position will also require sitting, movements required for use of a computer including typing, speaking to others, and hearing.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position that includes up to 29 hours per week, Sunday-Tuesday 12:00am-8:30am. Workdays include weekends and holidays as well as some overtime and on-call duties may be required as needed.
